Role Overview The Senior Contracts Manager will oversee multiple high-value projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a strategic role with clear progression opportunities into senior leadership, offering the chance to shape the company’s future growth. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage contracts across retail, residential, and leisure projects. * Oversee project delivery from pre-construction through to completion. * Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and quality standards. * Drive efficiency and profitability across projects. * Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence. * Contribute to business development and client relationship management. * Report directly to the board on project performance and strategic opportunities. Candidate Profile * Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction industry. * Strong track record of delivering projects valued between £2m and £12m. * Excellent knowledge of contract law, procurement, and contract management. * Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills. * Ambitious, with a desire to progress into senior leadership. * Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. * Experience in high-end retail, residential, or leisure projects is highly desirable.
