GR Employment Ltd is recruiting for a Courier Driver on behalf of one of our customers in Gatwick, Crawley area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of shipments to and from customers. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM or 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM 30 minutes unpaid break Hourly Rate: £14.25 per hour Shift Premium: Extra £2.71 per hour after 7.00 pm Saturday Premium: Extra £1.18 per hour Sunday Premium: Extra £2.20 per hour Job Responsibilities Multi drop, roughly 60-70 stops per day (collections and delivery) As a Courier Driver, you will be measured on customer satisfaction and the successful completion of time-definite deliveries and collections. As a frontline representative of the company, you are expected to carry out all tasks with a strong customer-focused approach. You must demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills to effectively prioritise tasks and meet customer expectations. While you will be assigned a specific geographical route, flexibility is essential, as you may occasionally be required to cover alternative routes to support business needs. You will also be responsible for scanning shipments and working quickly and efficiently to ensure warehouse deadlines are met. The role requires the ability to make sound decisions and perform effectively under pressure.
