An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Transaction (Revenue) team within the recently restructured Finance Department at the University of South Wales. Based in Pontypridd, this role will allow you to utilize your financial skills to support teams within the Finance department and the University, providing a range of financial services to both Corporate Departments and Faculties.
The Assistant Finance Officer will perform a variety of financial duties within the Sales Ledger team, ensuring accurate invoicing for all revenue sources and proactive debt collection. We seek a candidate with excellent customer service and data processing skills, an approachable and professional attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
This is a part-time, permanent position.
If you are a successful candidate and this is your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
