Bolton College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Lecturer B with industry / subject specialist knowledge to deliver high quality teaching and learning within our Carpentry & Joinery provision.
Qualifications
* Qualified to Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery]
* Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
* Level 2 Maths and English qualifications
* Experience in the delivery of Carpentry & Joinery programmes
* Experience of assessing students at Levels 2 & 3 in Carpentry & Joinery
* Knowledge of the apprenticeship standards and experience in preparing Carpentry apprentices for end-point assessment
Day-to-day responsibilities
* To support the Curriculum Leader by co-ordinating and supervising a small team in the delivery of high quality and inclusive provision within a curriculum area.
* To deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
* To support the curriculum management on curriculum and course development.
* To take part and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
* Develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required.
* As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check
