Mid‑weight Interior Designer (F&B / Hospitality)
Location: London (studio‑based, 1 day remote/week)
Contract: 12‑month (potential to extend/convert permanent)
Salary: Up to £43,000 (DOE)
About Our Client
Our client is a fast‑growing, design‑driven studio specialising in hospitality interiors. They deliver concept–to–completion fit‑out projects both in the UK and internationally, combining creativity, technical rigor, and close client collaboration. As they expand their hospitality team, they’re seeking a Mid‑weight Interior Designer to join the studio and help shape extraordinary guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Develop creative design concepts, mood boards, and 2D/3D presentations
*
Assist with tender proposals and sample coordination; prepare finishes boards
*
Produce detailed working drawings (AutoCAD plans, elevations, joinery details) and specifications
*
Source FF&E and manage relationships with fabricators, specialist suppliers, and manufacturers
*
Oversee and mentor Junior Designers, fostering problem‑solving and growth
*
Attend site surveys, client meetings, and coordinate with project teams
*
Balance multiple project workloads to meet deadlines and maintain quality
*
Contribute to the ongoing development and expansion of the hospitality interiors team
*
Report directly to the Design Director
Skills & Experience
*
Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
*
3–4 years’ UK experience on high‑end F&B and hospitality fit‑out projects
*
Proficient in AutoCAD; excellent Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator skills
*
Strong 3D modelling in SketchUp; freehand sketching ability
*
Demonstrated FF&E sourcing and specification expertise
*
Solid understanding of building regulations, British Standards, and statutory requirements
*
Proven track record working with fabricators and specialist manufacturers
*
Excellent written and spoken English communication and presentation skills
*
Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload independently
