What is the role?
To support the Group Head of Partnership Homes and the Head of Partnership Homes South/North in delivering Persimmon Homes' Affordable Homes Proposition to the market. This includes negotiating and securing offers from Registered Providers for the disposal of Affordable Housing under s106 Planning Agreements. You will assist in managing the forward programme of s106 sites to ensure the timely delivery of Affordable Home sales, and help convert firm offers into legally binding Development Agreements.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Assist in issuing RP tenders to meet deadlines.
2. Research Local Authority Affordable Housing policies and summarize findings for negotiation purposes.
3. Gather necessary information to facilitate contract progress and exchanges.
4. Engage with Local Authority Housing Enablers and Registered Providers to support negotiations and relationships.
5. Review and comment on Affordable Housing aspects of site layouts and agreements.
6. Participate in internal training programs.
7. Support relationship-building across Operating Companies.
8. Travel as needed for meetings with stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
* Good numeracy skills; qualification in a numeracy-related subject such as Business, Accounting, Science, or Mathematics.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Self-motivated with good time management skills to meet deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail and analytical ability to interpret data and documents.
* Valid driving license and access to a car for work-related travel.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* High integrity and professionalism.
