Overview
Norfolk Wildlife Trust are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead NatureCityNorwich – a three-year multi-partner project supported through Nature Towns and Cities, a programme funded by National Lottery players to help urban areas protect and enhance their natural heritage.
The project will co-create a community-led urban nature recovery action plan, placing nature and people at the heart of Norwich’s future. It will map and address the city’s ‘nature gaps’, improve access to green and blue spaces, and empower communities to shape a more resilient, biodiverse and inclusive city.
The post is based at NWT HQ in Norwich (with scope for hybrid working considered). The role is 28 hours per week. The contract is 3-year fixed term.

Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for co-ordinating, managing, and overseeing all aspects of NatureCityNorwich – from setting up effective governance to ensuring workstreams are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
You’ll work closely with partners including Norwich City Council, Norfolk County Council, South Norfolk and Broadland District Councils and other key stakeholders to create a lasting legacy for nature in the city.
Requirements / Qualifications
This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent communicator with strong project management skills, the ability to build effective working relationships and a passion for nature’s recovery. The post will suit someone with relevant project management experience and a commitment to urban nature restoration.
