The company is a manufacturer based in Alcester, producing high‑precision fabricated and machined metal components for the aerospace, defence and power generation industries.
We are recruiting a Quality Inspector for our operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform inspection operations using 3D optical scanners
* Perform 1st and final inspections using manual and visual techniques
* Populate the inspection database with all relevant dimensions
* Sentencing of all parts inspected on optical (Keyence, Scan, OGP) and CMM
* Support the internal non‑conformance process – raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured
* Liaise closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth transition of new products
* Complete FAIR packs
Required Skills & Experience
* Familiar with quality control procedures and standards; have held a quality control role in a manufacturing environment
* Ability to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
* CAD knowledge
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Strong team player
* Experience in the aerospace industry would be an advantage
Shift Details
The role is a late shift: Monday to Wednesday 4:30 pm – 2:30 am, Thursday 4:30 pm – 1:30 am.
