Responsibilities
* Report to the Commercial Director and manage the procurement of sub‑contractors and suppliers on all contracts.
* Place all sub‑contract orders in line with programme requirements, ensuring the best price and contract adherence.
* Place material orders in line with programme requirements and record details for finance.
* Comply with all deadlines.
* Provide accurate, fully detailed cash‑flow and revenue forecasts for all schemes.
* Prepare an initial cost budget for each project before works commence and constantly update it within the monthly contract CVR process.
* Produce accurate monthly CVRs for each project, reviewing all cost heads and forecasting end‑of‑day costs.
* Capture variations to the contract and supply‑chain variations, agree with clients, and review prices before certification.
* Submit fully reviewed sub‑contract valuations within contractual timescales, ensuring legal notifications and deadline compliance.
* Submit client valuations in line with contract terms, maximizing to keep each contract in the best cash position.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a stable and progressive career history as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the Social Housing or Renewable Energy sector.
