About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes when teachers are absent, ensuring students stay on task and engaged with their learning. You will play a vital role in maintaining classroom standards and supporting the smooth running of school life. Responsibilities: Supervise classes following lesson plans provided by teachers. Ensure students remain engaged, on task, and behave appropriately. Maintain high classroom standards in the absence of teaching staff. Record and report on student behaviour, engagement, and any incidents. Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SEN coordinators, and other school staff. Qualifications: Previous experience in schools or classroom supervision preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage behaviour effectively and maintain focus in the classroom. Professional, reliable, and confident approach.
