We are looking for passionate, dedicated, and determined newly qualified Social Workers to join our Children's Services.
We offer a robust Assessed and Supported Year of Employment (ASYE) to support our newly qualified Social Workers in developing their professional capability and confidence. There is a focus on quality, not quantity. Your voice as a newly qualified Social Worker is central to the programme, with opportunities to share your thoughts and feedback. The programme also includes clearly defined standards regarding workload, supervision, protected development time, and support.
Support and Programme Details:
1. A comprehensive induction, shadowing experiences, an ASYE Masterclass Programme, and guidance on health, wellbeing, and inclusion.
2. Review points at three, six, nine, and twelve months.
3. A learning and development programme aligned with Social Work Post Qualifying Standards.
4. Structured supervision, workload management, and protected development time.

Salary and Application Details:
This role is a newly qualified Social Worker position, starting at Grade 8, £34,314. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will progress to Grade 9, with a salary of £37,983, plus a £7,000 Market Forces Supplement if based in a Family Safeguarding or Adolescent Safeguarding Team.
