Humanities Graduate – History / Geography Support
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Daily Rate: £90–£110
Protocol Education is seeking a Humanities Graduate to work in a secondary school in Newcastle as an Academic Mentor or Classroom Support Assistant.
This role is ideal for graduates considering teacher training, museum education or education policy. The school values discussion-based learning and critical thinking and is well served by public transport.
The role includes:
* Supporting History and/or Geography lessons
* Delivering small-group academic interventions
* Supporting literacy and essay writing skills
* Encouraging critical thinking and discussion
This role would suit graduates who:
* Hold a degree in History, Geography or a related subject
* Are confident working with young people
* Are interested in education or teaching careers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
