A thriving two-form entry primary school, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, is seeking enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join their team across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping children achieve their full potential in a diverse and welcoming school community. About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils to help them feel secure and valued within the school. Support children's learning across the curriculum, using strategies that encourage engagement, motivation and independence. Provide targeted support for children with additional needs, liaising with the SENCo, Speech and Language Therapist, and other professionals as required. Promote inclusion and respect for all, celebrating the diverse backgrounds and abilities of every pupil. Use play, conversation, and structured interventions to support language development, literacy, numeracy, and personal growth. Monitor and record pupil progress, feeding back regularly to class teachers.Supporting the Teacher and School Community Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and prepare classroom resources. Provide feedback on pupil progress and behaviour. Supervise and lead both indoor and outdoor activities that support children's holistic development. Communicate effectively with parents and carers, supporting strong home-school partnerships. Maintain high standards of organisation, safety, and care within the classroom and wider school. Contribute positively to the wider school environment and ethos.Who We're Looking For Prior classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant (preferred but not essential). A calm, reliable, and professional approach to working with children and staff. A strong understanding of safeguarding, inclusive practice, and behaviour management. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with the National Curriculum and/or Early Years Framework is desirable.Why Join Us?
