Your role
* Lead both face‑to‑face and virtual client workshops, managing stakeholders with differing priorities to reach agreed requirements.
* Take an evidence‑based approach, using data to inform and, where necessary, constructively challenge decisions to ensure the right outcome is achieved.
* Work with ambiguity, bringing clarity and cutting through complexity.
* Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Product Managers, and User Experience Designers while also working effectively with other disciplines to deliver an end‑to‑end solution that meets client requirements.
* Understand industry trends, identify new opportunities for work within projects, contribute to bid proposals, and drive innovation that increases client value (e.g., using Generative AI to enhance business processes).
* Take responsibility for leading Business Analysis on complex, high‑pressure projects, role‑modeling professional behaviours for colleagues.
* Manage people, driving improvements across the BA profession and actively supporting the development and career progression of other BAs.
Your Skills And Experience
* Experience working on user‑centred product or service development projects.
* Comfortable working in a technical environment and closely with solution architects and other technical subject matter experts.
* Ability to identify and develop business opportunities with clients.
* Experience supporting and developing other BAs through people management and mentoring activities.
* Background on projects in the Public Sector or other legislative‑driven sectors such as Utilities, Energy, or Pharmaceutical.
* Incorporation of a sustainability mindset into solutions.
And the Ability To
* Influence strategy and leadership direction within complex engagements.
* Become a domain expert in the field in which you are working.
* Understand the architecture and technologies used to deliver solutions.
* Work with low‑level detail while also seeing the big picture and driving strategy.
* Build collaborative stakeholder relationships with colleagues and clients up to the most senior level.
* Become a trusted advisor to clients, providing coaching where necessary.
BCS Business Analysis certification would be desirable.
