Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care nurse to join our charge nurse team. The role requires a passionate and enthusiastic Registered Nurse with leadership and management skills within the Critical Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities
* Full‑time 36‑hour schedule with day/night rotations and weekend work.
* Act as a charge nurse and lead management within the Critical Care Unit.
* Support the wider emergency care directorate by fulfilling duty charge nurse duties out of hours.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Significant post‑registration critical care nursing experience.
* Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice and professional development.
* Understanding of services across the critical care floor.
* Preferred evidence of leadership education.
* Will become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
