Job Title: Asbestos & Health and Safety Manager
Location: North West London (Hybrid Working)
Rate: £36 per hour (Umbrella)

About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Asbestos & Health and Safety Manager to join our team in North West London on a hybrid working basis. This is a key role responsible for ensuring compliance with asbestos regulations and leading health and safety management across a diverse property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the lead subject matter expert for asbestos management and health & safety compliance
* Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, including Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and Health & Safety at Work Act
* Oversee asbestos surveys, risk assessments, management plans, and remediation works
* Manage and monitor appointed asbestos consultants and
* Provide professional advice and guidance to internal stakeholders, contractors, and senior management
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions
* Develop, review, and update health and safety policies, procedures, and systems
* Carry out audits, inspections, and performance monitoring
* Prepare reports and present findings to senior leadership
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience in asbestos management and health & safety within housing, property, or construction environments
* Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety and asbestos legislation
* Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, BOHS, IOSH, or equivalent)
* Experience managing external consultants and contractors
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently in a hybrid role
