Job Description An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sub Project Manager to join a major project management team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, multidisciplinary project teams, and the client on a fast-paced project. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and governance structures to ensure successful project delivery. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure roles are clearly defined and deliverables are achieved efficiently. Budget & Resource Management: Develop, monitor, and control project budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective execution. Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively managing issues and change requests. Schedule & Quality Control: Track project progress against timelines and ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards. Communication & Reporting: Provide regular status updates and performance reports, maintaining accurate and comprehensive project documentation. Compliance & Governance: Ensure all project activities comply with organisational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Required Experience & Skills Minimum of 3 years' experience in a project management role within engineering, construction, or other regulated sectors. Strong working knowledge of reporting and planning methodologies. Good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with planning and cost teams. Positive, proactive attitude with excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively across diverse project teams. Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for work within a regulated industry environment. Experience with integrated work management or similar project control systems is desirable. Working Arrangements Full-time position - 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday).
