Job Description

Responsibilities
* Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of medical device products.
* Operate instrumentation independently, including chromatographic systems (HPLC, IC, GC), UV/Spec, wet chemistry analyses, FT-IR, ICP, DSC, and dissolution apparatus.
* Consult with clients to understand their testing needs and develop tailored PFAS testing methods for specific projects.
* Prepare samples and run analyses with minimal supervision.
* Set up and validate new analytical processes used by the department.
* Prepare standards and samples for analysis and execute method transfer protocols.
* Document work in compliance with GMP standards.
* Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree preferred in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field.
* At least 3 years of industry experience using chromatography in an environmental or cGMP environment.
* Minimum 3 years of experience with PFAS testing or characterization.
* Experience operating CIC and HPLC systems and with Solid Phase Extraction.
* Knowledge of ISO 10993 and/or ISO 18562 testing standards.
* Experience working in a cGMP, GLP, or ISO 17025 compliant laboratory.
* Proficiency in method development and validation.
* Polymeric and/or PFAS-related education or experience.
* Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

This full-time position (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm) offers overtime as needed. Candidates living within commuting distance to Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
