SEN Teaching Assistant - Batley – Primary School Ages 5 - 11 Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs? A primary school in Batley is seeking a versatile and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. The school has an onsite Alternative Resource Provision (ARP) where they support students with ASC, SEMH and MLD. The role would be to start in September, or possibly earlier to assist with transition before the new academic year. Initially, this position is for 1 term, with the potential to extend or become permanent. Key Responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant: * Provide tailored support for students, ensuring access to learning opportunities. * Assist in the implementation of behaviour and communication programmes. * Foster independence, personal development, and inclusion within the school community. * Support teachers in classroom management, resource preparation, and lesson delivery. * Attend to personal care needs as required, following school policies.
