We would like to present you with an exciting opportunity for a Transport Planner to join our friendly team at ourSheffield siteon a full time permanent basis!
Salary:£30,000- £31,000 per annum.
Working hours:Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
As a Transport Planner you willoverseethe day to day planning of the transport operation. A highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced at working in a busy transport department, able to deal with day to day challenges and provide cost effective solutions to the customer.
Key Duties of a Transport Planner:
1. Subcontracting and planning orders out of multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK.
2. Planning daily workload for a fleet: vehicles based on and off site.
3. Dealing with queries and issues by telephone, fax and email from our customers, sub-contract hauliers and warehousing sites.
