EPR Operational Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Operational EPR team.
This role will lead a small operational team in the operational delivery and design of pathways aligned to the Trusts EPR system.
You will act as the senior operational link to ensure appropriate engagement of current and future pathways. The role will also lead on operational preparation for EPR go live and the impact on hospital operations, such as proactively managing leave with clinical teams and reviewing activity to minimise any disruption to service delivery and operational performance.
We are looking for a candidate who can translate complex digital information into simple terms, communicate with stakeholders, and understand current IT systems, operational patient flows and performance targets.
Job responsibilities
* Lead a small operational team in operational delivery and design of pathways aligned to the Trusts EPR system.
* Act as senior operational link to ensure appropriate engagement of current and future pathways.
* Lead on operational preparation for EPR go live, manage impact on hospital operations, proactively manage leave with clinical teams and review activity to minimise disruption.
* Translate complex digital information into simple terms to support communication with all stakeholders.
* Demonstrate resilience and leadership during significant change and drive successful change management.
Qualifications
* Educated to a degree level, preferably in Management, or equivalent professional experience.
* Specialist knowledge across a range of work procedures including RTT.
* ILM Level 5 in Team Leading.
Experience
* Previous clerical experience.
* Working in an NHS/clinical environment (e.g., hospital, GP surgery, CCG).
* Supervision and development of staff.
* Operational management or sufficient experience of a service on a day-to-day basis.
* Managing administrative functions within a large complex organisation.
* Managing a change process.
* Managing contracts.
* Holding budgetary responsibility.
* Formal performance management of staff.
* Managing sickness absence and conducting performance or capability investigations.
Skills & Knowledge
* Knowledge of Trust procedures.
* Thorough understanding of NHS performance targets.
* Knowledge of patient flow.
* Ability to promote good working liaisons (staff, patients, relatives).
* Knowledge of IT databases and computer systems.
