Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Trinity VA C of E Primary & Nursery School (Academies for Character and Excellence)
Location: Exeter, Devon. Multiple terms. Salary: £22,468 per annum (Devon NJC Grade E 16). Start as soon as possible or 1st September 2026.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver lessons to individuals, groups and whole classes during teacher absences for PPA or leadership duties.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, supporting curriculum planning and resource preparation.
* Cover classes across the school as required.
* Demonstrate initiative and respond to solutions with integrity and compassion.
* Inspire and motivate children, encouraging all pupils to learn, aspire and achieve.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Relevant HLTA or equivalent qualification, or the desire to obtain one.
* SEND experience advantageous but not essential.
* Enhanced DBS clearance required for the post.
