An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a lovely employer in the Harrogate area. They are looking to recruit a Customer Service Team Member to work closely with their sales team. As a Customer Service Team Member, you will develop strong relationships with their customers to provide excellent customer service and exceed their delivery expectations.
The customer service team is the first point of contact for their customers so it’s very important to understand exactly what the customer needs and be able to provide accurate information quickly. This requires good attention to detail and clear communication - these qualities are imperative for this role.
Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Team Member: -
1. Answering the phone and redirecting calls to other departments
2. Helping customers with enquiries, price requests and product questions
3. Processing customers’ orders and agreeing delivery dates by phone and email
4. Liaising with other departments to progress orders and update customers
5. Recognise when a customer is unhappy and take responsibility to ensure all queries are resolved in a satisfactory timescale
6. Reporting to the Sales Office Coordinator with agreed KPI’s each week

7. Outgoing personality with the desire to go the extra mile to provide excellent service!
8. Good communication skills with a professional approach
9. Strong attention to detail, and good IT skills
10. Keen to learn and share technical product knowledge
11. Competitive or sales-minded.
12. Receive feedback in a positive manner and demonstrate a “can do” attitude
13. At least one years experence in a customer service role - someone who has worked in a fast-paced supplier industry eg construction supplier/Business Supplies/Print/Promotional Products/Transport or delivery sevices.
