Junior Financial Analyst
Location: London
Salary: Competitive
An ambitious and growing advisory firm focused on sustainable infrastructure, energy transition, and investment opportunities is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its expanding team in London.
This role offers a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, commercially minded individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute directly to business growth. Working alongside senior professionals and engaging with clients, investors, and external advisers, the successful candidate will play an active role across transaction execution, business development, and strategic advisory activities.
Key responsibilities include supporting the preparation of marketing materials, investor presentations, transaction documents, financial models, valuation analyses, and industry research. The analyst will contribute to live transactions by coordinating information flow between stakeholders, assisting with due diligence processes, managing Q&A requests, and supporting the production of investment and transaction documentation. The role also involves preparing market intelligence, maintaining presentation materials, and developing case studies showcasing completed transactions.
Candidates should possess a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline. Previous exposure to investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or related financial services environments is advantageous. Strong technical capabilities in financial modelling, valuation methodologies, accounting principles, and corporate finance analysis are essential.
The ideal candidate combines analytical excellence with a highly proactive and entrepreneurial mindset. This position is particularly suited to individuals who enjoy taking ownership, identifying opportunities, working independently, and contributing beyond their immediate responsibilities.
Success in the role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and confidence operating within a fast-paced environment.
A genuine interest in sustainable infrastructure and energy transition sectors is highly desirable. Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required, while additional language skills, particularly German, would be beneficial.
