 
        
        As Executive Assistant, you hold a key role within the Chief Officers directorate. You will enhance the effectiveness of the Chief Officer through the provision of professional and comprehensive support. You will represent the Chief Officer to internal and external stakeholders and manage their business in a confidential, effective and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
 * Diary management: Manage the diaries of Chief Finance Officer and Director of Finance, prioritising as appropriate to ensure their time is efficiently utilised.
 * Email management: Draft correspondence on behalf of Chief Finance Officer, track progress on incoming and outgoing email traffic.
 * Receive and action correspondence and enquiries into the Chief Finance Officer's office and prioritise for action, draft correspondence accordingly.
 * Meeting agenda preparations, transcribing and minute taking.
 * Trust Board & Council of Governors: Work alongside the Directorate Planning & Oversight Manager and Corporate Governance Team to ensure Chief Finance Officer's agenda items and associated presentations are delivered in a timely manner.
 * Proactively follow up on actions given to the Chief Finance Officer and liaise with deputies/direct reports/teams to resolve.
 * Project Management support on designated projects as assigned by the Chief Finance Officer, ensure alignment on planning, implementation and communication across the Trust.
 * Executive Assistant Team: Play an active role in the development and implementation of administrative procedures within the Executive Function to ensure that high standards are set and maintained.
 * Work collaboratively to make the Executive Function/office an agile and cohesive working environment.
 * Provide cover for peers as required to ensure coverage is maintained across the Executive Function.
Qualifications
 * Proficient in managing a varied and demanding workload; highly adaptable, fluent communicator and team player with excellent computer skills.
 * Experience as an Executive Assistant in a complex organisation.
 * Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure.
 * Demonstrates the ability to be agile and multi-task.
 * Secretarial and/or complex administration experience.
Desirable Criteria
 * Previous experience of working in the NHS.
 * Advanced experience of working with O365.
