The role
The Business Continuity and Resilience (BCR) Analyst supports the BCR Manager in ensuring that holistic planning, preparation and risk‑mitigation protects our business capabilities and our clients (members) from harm. The BCR Analyst has specialised knowledge of ISO 22301 business continuity and the FCA’s Operational Resilience requirements.
This role is permanent and home‑based. No visa sponsorship is available. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
The person
We are looking for an experienced practitioner who understands associated standards, frameworks and methodologies such as ISO 22301, the BCI Good Practice Guidelines and the FCA Operational Resilience. You will develop, implement and test business continuity plans in all business areas, ensuring alignment with impact analysis, risk assessments and stakeholder needs to meet recovery requirements.
You will communicate effectively and coordinate activity with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation including external suppliers, developing effective relationships internally and externally. Proactive collaboration is fundamental to this role; you must be able to negotiate and influence to achieve necessary outcomes. You will be detail‑oriented and able to produce clear and concise reports and documentation.
