Quantity Surveyor £62,000 - £65,000 plus package. Glass / Facade Sub-Contractor. This dynamic and highly successful specialist Sub-Contractor is looking for a strong Quantity Surveyor to work in London. This company has been established for just over 25 years and is one of the most dynamic contractors specialising in bespoke internal / external glass sub-contract and associated packages in London, with an annual turnover in excess of £35 million. They specialise in windows and doors, atrium, balustrades, shopfronts, ceilings and have an extensive portfolio of commercial and infrastructure projects with typical contracts up to £4 million in value. The company is looking for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to work on a prestigious project in central London. Reporting to a Commercial Manager, your main role will be to assist the commercial function.
Responsibilities
* Assisting in all aspects of the financial control of the project including estimations, developing and reviewing target costs, forecast and cash flow analysis.
* Valuations, measurements and cost reports, attending meetings and ensuring that adequate cost monitoring and management is undertaken.
* Coordinate and agree the production of final accounts with various parties to ensure project approvals and completions are obtained on time.
Requirements
* Up to 5 years practical experience; experience with a Sub-Contractor preferred, and ideally involvement in large-scale infrastructure projects.
* Construction background with drive and determination to succeed in a technically challenging environment.
* Focused attitude, excellent communication skills, ability to work as part of a team, and high motivation.
* HND or equivalent qualification; degree studies welcome.
