Cardiologist (Non-Invasive)
Compensation: Competitive, productivity-based compensation (well above MGMA median) + Incentives
Job Type: Full time. Monday - Friday. Day shift.
Location: Rutland, Vermont
We are seeking a Fellowship-trained, non-invasive Cardiologist to join a thriving and collegial practice of established Cardiologists. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a well-supported, integrated health system with strong tertiary referral partnerships.
Job Responsibilities
1. Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiovascular care in an outpatient and inpatient setting
2. Perform and interpret non-invasive diagnostic studies (e.g., echocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring)
3. Evaluate and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions
4. Provide consultative services to hospital inpatients
5. Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and emergency medicine physicians
6. Coordinate care with tertiary centers for invasive and electrophysiology procedures
7. Participate in shared call rotation
8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation
9. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence
Qualifications
10. MD or DO from an accredited medical school
11. Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
12. Completion of an accredited Cardiology fellowship (non-invasive)
13. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
14. Eligible for or holding an active Vermont medical license
15. Eligible for hospital credentialing and privileges Strong clinical skills and commitment to high-quality patient-centered care
16. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
