Due to continual growth, we are seeking an experienced and qualified mechanic to join our team in Ripley to work on our ever-growing fleet of LGV’s.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
* Conduct inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
* Collaborate with the fleet compliance team to schedule and prioritise work.
* Working with the parts departments to make sure correct parts are ordered.
Requirements:
* Needs to be self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic.
* Good attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
Experience:
* A minimum of Level 2 in motor vehicle service and maintenance technician (required).
* A proven track record in vehicle maintenance and repair (preferred but not essential).
Licence/Certification:
* Full driving licence and own tools.
Job Types:
* Full time, permanent.
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* Occasional Saturdays

* No less than 40 per week
