Job Description
Key responsibilities:
* Develop, implement and maintain quality control protocols
* Analyse manufacturing processes and materials for quality risk factors
* Drive solutions to reduce cost and improve quality
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
* Collaborate with the engineering team to develop quality control metrics
* Review products, processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made
* Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure projects are completed to specifications
* Conduct audits and create reports to determine compliance with quality and safety standards
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quality Engineer should have:
* Knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plans.
* Knowledge of problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 why's, RCA).
* Knowledge of IMDS.
* Willingness to undergo relevant training as and when required.
* Driving license is essential.
