Job Description – Business Development Manager We are ABGi-UK, one of the world’s leading tax incentive and innovation management advisors who secure funding for companies undertaking Research and Development (R&D) and innovative activities. Our reputation is based on our credibility and reliability in delivering a second to none top professional service to our large blue chip and Indigenous SME clients. Our specialised staff use their practical experience and taxation law knowledge of the landscape to assist our clients in preparing and claiming, so they fully exploit the R&D tax credit incentive. The Candidate We have an immediate opening for an energetic and experienced R&D Business Development Manager who will help us grow our business. You should have proven sales experience within the R&D industry, complemented by a strong professional network and a demonstrated ability to identify and secure new business opportunities. A passion for helping innovative companies maximise the benefits of this incentive is essential. You will have an excellent previous record of achieving sales targets, be able to work independently, be self-determined and enjoy flexibility through autonomy whilst delivering on our business goals. The Role The BDM role is a full-time, permanent role, taking responsibility for the development of new clients and maintaining client relationships. You will plan and organise your daily workload to meet the company strategy, grow the business and achieve KPI’s. This will be a client-facing role and will include developing sales leads, contacting companies, arranging appointments with prospective clients, delivering presentations, winning contracts in a professional and polished manner.
