Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Quoting: Prepare and send accurate quotations to customers, ensuring timely responses.
* Customer Relationship Management: Maintain regular communication with customers via phone and email, building and nurturing long-term relationships.
* Order Processing: Process customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring all details are captured correctly in the system.
* After-Sales Support: Follow up on orders, monitor delivery schedules, and liaise with customers to resolve any issues post-sale.
* Haulage Coordination: Arrange transportation and delivery logistics for customer orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and after-sales teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
* Sales Experience: Previous sales experience is highly beneficial, especially in dealing with builders merchants.
* Customer Service Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
* Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately process orders and handle quotations.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to follow up on orders and delivery issues, resolving problems promptly.
* IT Proficiency: Familiarity with office software and order processing systems.
* Organisational Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritising work effectively.
