Job summary
To be responsible to the Funding Unit Manager for developing, leading on, and implementing the Local Action Plan for PEACEPLUS and other peace and reconciliation programmes within the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough area. Lead on the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of a Local PEACEPLUS Action Plan and associated programmes, including managing staff, resources, and budgets. Develop, deliver, and coordinate programmes focused on peace and reconciliation, supervising project staff.
The postholder will ensure efficient management of substantial budgets, appropriate work allocation, and compliance with policies and procedures. As a representative of the council as Lead Partner, work closely with agencies to develop and implement the Local Peace Action Plan, fostering collaboration across the borough to build peace and reconciliation.
Provide professional advice on communication matters, develop and implement communication plans, and ensure activities align with SEUPB guidelines and council strategies. Review new developments in Good Relations, support policy development, and act as lead officer for PEACE programs. Ensure statutory and legislative compliance, good governance, and health and safety adherence. Maintain confidentiality and ensure timely, effective execution of responsibilities.
