Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 qualified Early Years Educator to join our Caterpillar room team. This role is integral in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for babies from 6 months to 2 years, fostering their development and learning through play-based activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, alongside a genuine love for working with children.
Duties
* Plan and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the developmental needs of children.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
* Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the quality of care provided.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
* Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
* Nursery experience working with under 2's is essential.
* Strong leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members.
* Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
* Level 3 Early Years Qualification is essential.
* First Aid qualification required.
