Were recruiting aDeputy Managerto join a 5 bed supportive childrens home based in the Crawley area. The home provides care for up to five young people aged 818 who need consistent, compassionate support due to emotional and behavioural needs.
About the Role
As Deputy Manager, youll play a key part in shaping the day-to-day life of the home. Working closely with the Registered Manager, youll help guide the team, maintain high care standards, and ensure every young person feels safe, valued, and understood.
This is a hands-on leadership position combining administrative responsibilities with direct care and team development.
What Youll Be Doing
1. Supporting the overall management and smooth running of the home
2. Leading shifts and stepping up in the Managers absence
3. Helping build a strong, motivated staff team with clear direction
4. Ensuring care meets all regulatory and quality standards
5. Writing reports, completing audits, and monitoring performance
6. Promoting safeguarding and best practice at all times
