Overview
Test Driven Solutions Ltd is a software consultancy based in Newcastle, UK with a hybrid office. We are looking for a mid/senior DevOps Engineer to support clients across private and public sectors.
Responsibilities
* Work in cross‑functional teams with clients, supporting delivery of initiatives.
* Contribute to design, development and operations of internal applications.
* Communicate effectively internally and externally.
* Promote TDS values and advocate best practices in software development, including XP, agility, DevOps and CI/CD.
* Grow the company through recruitment efforts.
* Mentor staff, grow technical and consultancy skills.
* Participate in internal product and systems development.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years’ professional experience in a cloud environment using AWS.
* Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible.
* Experience with a DevOps‑friendly programming language (Python, Go or JavaScript/Node).
* Understanding of cloud IAM architecture and security implications.
* Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus.
* Experience with secrets management tooling such as Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
* Experience building continuous delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins or TeamCity.
