Social Media & Content Specialist – 6 Month FTC
Please note this role is hybrid working - 3 days onsite in Brighton, and therefore we can only consider candidates who are based in a commutable location.
A leading global organisation is seeking a creative and community-focused Social Media & Content Specialist to support and elevate their online presence. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves storytelling, audience engagement, and delivering stand-out content across social channels.
This Social Media & Content Specialist will be working closely with the wider marketing and digital teams, you'll help drive an authentic, always-on presence across the brand’s social platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of social conversations, trends, and community-building.
Role Responsibilities:
* Actively monitor and interact with online communities across social channels, responding to comments and engaging with conversations, mentions, and audience posts.
* Maintain a strong and consistent brand presence by supporting daily community management and escalating key interactions when needed.
* Create engaging content such as posts, stories, articles, and short-form video, ensuring it aligns with the overall brand and campaign plans.
* Help manage and update the social content calendar, coordinating closely with marketing and campaign teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
* Work collaboratively with wider digital and brand teams to ensure content is ready for activation across all platforms.
* Monitor social and industry trends to identify new opportunities for audience engagement and content ideas.
* Track and report on social performance metrics, sharing insights with relevant teams to inform future content and channel strategies.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Hands-on experience managing social media accounts, such as, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube etc.
* Strong copywriting skills and confidence in producing creative, on-brand content across multiple formats.
* Ability to interpret social performance data and turn it into meaningful insights.
* Collaborative approach, comfortable working with cross-functional teams including marketing, digital, and campaign stakeholders.
For this Social Media & Content Specialist, they are offering a salary of up to £35,000 (pro-rated) for an initial 6 months Fixed Term Contract (FTC), with a very high chance for being made permanent. The role is hybrid working with 3 days in their Brighton office with flexible working.
