We require a Bank Preschool Practitioner, for our small charity run, rural Preschool in Dunholme, this will be initially on a 0 hour contract however we will require some regular hours to cover a period of long term staff sickness.
Successful candidates must be at least level 2 qualified (level 3 however preferred.) with a relevant childcare qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all children in the classroom
- Administer basic first aid when necessary
Qualifications:
- Min Level 2 in child care. (Level 3 preferred)
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children
