It’s a super exciting time to join us as we are looking for a service Navigator to join our Smoke Free County Durham Team. Our Smoke Free County Durham Service has been delivering successful Stop Smoking Programmes which are designed to support local people who live, study or work in County Durham and want, or need, to quit smoking. Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. We don’t like to stick to a firm JD as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths. A typical day as a Navigator might include : Using a variety of systems and approaches to ensure clients get the best, most positive and client-centred approach when supporting them through our onboarding process. Offering guidance and support to clients both on the phone and in writing to ensure they are aligned to the most appropriate service suitable to their individual needs Contacting clients who wish to start their journey with us, being a friendly, warm and empathetic voice that represents our service positively and to accurately record their information on our bespoke systems. Providing accurate and timely responses to request information from clients, partner organisations and the public. Organising venues, meetings and events on behalf of the the service, including ordering refreshments, recording and distribution of key documents. Ensuring effective stock rotation and distribution for colleagues and clients Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance. Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments - we are always looking to share knowledge and resources! To work with us in this role, it would be desirable for you to have some delivery experience of supporting clients to make healthy lifestyle choices, but don’t worry if that isn’t the case full training for the role will be provided. However, if you have already completed your NCSCT Stop Smoking Advisor training that’s a bonus! We hire based on attitude over traditional skills and experience so if you feel you are right for the job we would love to hear from you!
