Turner Property Recruitment is delighted to be working with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy to appoint a talented Senior or Associate Building Surveyor to join their growing Manchester team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded business delivering specialist services across building surveying, project management, cost consultancy, and fire safety. The organisation has built a strong reputation working on complex, high-risk buildings across residential, mixed‑use, and education sectors, including student accommodation.
The Opportunity
This role offers a diverse workload across both project delivery and professional advisory services, with a strong emphasis on managing and leading projects.
You will be responsible for:
* Acting as Contract Administrator, Lead Consultant, or Project Manager across multiple schemes
* Delivering projects typically ranging from £500k to £6m
* Leading project teams and ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion
* Undertaking core building surveying duties including:
o Defect diagnosis
o Planned maintenance programmes
o Landlord & tenant matters
o Reinstatement cost assessments
o Party wall matters
o General professional advice
Projects will include:
* External refurbishment and façade remediation
* Internal common parts upgrades
* Private residential refurbishments
About You
We’re keen to speak with individuals who are:
* Experienced Building Surveyors or Quantity Surveyors with strong project delivery exposure
* Highly competent in the JCT suite of contracts (essential)
* Familiar with NEC contracts (desirable)
* Confident leading teams and managing stakeholders
* Organised, proactive, and commercially aware
