Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team during procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice. This position requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a understanding of SOE systems to manage patient records effectively.
Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised.
* Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is updated in the IT system.
* Manage appointment schedules and assist with the organisation of the practice's daily operations.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
* Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required.
Experience
* Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members.
* Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care with a focus on empathy and professionalism.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous.
