Outdoor Nursery Deputy Manager (50/50 Practice & Admin) Location: Dalkeith Country Park - FULLY OUTDOORS Lead, support and shape a unique outdoor nursery At Chapter One Childcare’s Treetops Outdoor Nursery, we offer a truly unique setting where nature is the classroom and every day is an adventure. We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our leadership team, supporting both outdoor practice and the operational running of the nursery. About the Role This is a structured hybrid role : 2 days outdoors supporting children, staff and leading practice 2 days office-based supporting admin, systems, compliance and day-to-day operations You will work closely alongside the Nursery Manager and step into a leadership role in their absence. What We’re Looking For BA or PDA Level 9 (or SVQ 4/Level 8 PDA and working towards) SSSC Lead Practitioner registered (or eligible) Strong leadership and organisational skills Confident both in practice and with administrative responsibilities Passion for outdoor learning and early years What We Offer £16.65 per hour £0.60 per hour outdoor working supplement 4-day working week (40 hours) 75% childcare discount dependant on session availability.
