About The Role
Please note that this is a full-time role working day or night shifts, 38.5 hours per week. Full flexibility is required.

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences all aspects of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to help deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your tasks may include assisting residents with mobility, end-of-life care, and communication with families, always with kindness.
You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key aspects of your role.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent and be willing to pursue Level 3 qualification. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. Your positive energy, ability to communicate kindly, good record-keeping, and time management are essential skills.
