Position: Project Manager - Water Location: Peterborough Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum package This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering key projects on the Anglian Water Framework. You will take full responsibility for managing multiple schemes through their lifecycle, leading a multidisciplinary team and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Role Responsibilities: ·Lead and manage a high-performing team, including Engineers and Commercial staff, fostering a collaborative, solution-focused culture. ·Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of projects to agreed quality, time, cost, and compliance standards. ·Oversee projects from inception through to handover, including scoping, planning, construction, handover, and managing any post-completion activities. ·Champion Health & Safety best practices, CDM compliance, and 'Zero Harm' behaviours through audits, reviews, and leadership. ·Work closely with Planning and Commercial teams to manage accurate forecasting of cost and resources, escalating issues where necessary. ·Drive collaboration within the Alliance and with wider stakeholders to promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. ·Ensure robust governance is maintained, delivering key project milestones such as Project Rehearsals and Fit for Assembly processes. ·Promote innovative, safe, and commercially viable solutions to meet project and client objectives. What We're Looking For: ·Strong project management experience within the water sector or complex infrastructure environments. ·Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, CDM, and drinking water standards. ·Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams in a performance-driven, collaborative environment. ·Strong understanding of NEC Option C contracts and commercial frameworks. ·Ability to think strategically while empowering and supporting your team operationally. ·IOSH qualification as a minimum. ·APMP (or similar Project Management Qualification) is highly desirable. ·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and drive best outcomes.
