MASH Social Worker – Location: Oldham • Job Type: Permanent, Full-time • Salary: £36,648 - £44,428 per annum

Day-to-day of the role
* Conduct multi-agency safeguarding assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
* Collaborate with other professionals within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) to gather and share information relevant to child protection concerns.
* Make informed decisions quickly and effectively to safeguard children.
* Provide advice and support to families, working closely with them to access services that can assist in improving their circumstances.
* Prepare reports and attend child protection conferences and meetings.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in accordance with legal requirements and organisational policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Qualified Social Worker with a current registration with Social Work England.
* Experience in child protection and safeguarding within a social work context.
* Strong decision-making skills with the ability to assess risks and act in a high-pressure environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
