Role Summary

Are you passionate about supporting workforce planning and improving clinical service delivery? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Non-Medical Staffing Job Planning Officer to join our People Directorate at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

In this pivotal role, you will be the key contact for job planning administration across the Trust, supporting senior non-medical clinical staff and managers in delivering high-quality, consistent, and compliant job planning processes. You will work closely with care group teams, contribute to governance meetings, and provide expert guidance on job planning systems and policies.

This role is to support a short term project to pilot job planning using an electronic software provider. The successful candidate will be required to have excellent organisational skills, knowledge of excel and an ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. The ability to be agile and flexible may be required from time to time. You will be provided with training to use the external job planning platform as part of your development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support and expert advice on job planning for non-medical clinical staff.

Maintain and manage the Trust’s electronic job planning system, including onboarding and offboarding users.

Produce reports for internal, regional, and national job planning KPIs.

Deliver training workshops and support materials to enhance organisational knowledge.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and compliance.

Contribute to service development and policy improvement initiatives.

Working Pattern: Flexible within core working hours.
