We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join an amazing secondary school in Peterborough. This is a part-time role (Monday-Wednesday), starting ASAP, with the opportunity to become permanent.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for secondary school students.
* Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of learning styles and abilities.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
* QTS is desirable but not essential for experienced candidates.
* Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry with the ability to teach up to GCSE level.
* Experience in lesson planning, marking, and classroom management.
* A commitment to fostering students’ academic and personal growth.
* Work in a highly supportive and well-resourced secondary school.
