Are you an experienced legal professional looking for a part-time role with a prestigious local authority? One of my local government clients are currently seeking a Legal Officer to support our prosecutions under the Single Justice Procedure. Key Responsibilities Include: * Managing case files and liaising with business support to ensure timely action * Drafting legal documents, letters, reports, and articles * Instructing counsel, experts, and suppliers, including raising and receipting purchase orders * Preparing and submitting electronic court bundles, including uploading to digital courtrooms * Assisting with billing, administration, and diary management * Attending court hearings and clerking as needed * Supporting onboarding and training of new team members * Aiding in LEXCEL accreditation preparation * Recording time/matter information accurately using our case management system What We’re Looking For: * Strong organisational and administrative skills * Experience working within a legal environment, ideally within a public sector legal team * Confidence working independently and collaboratively * A proactive attitude and high attention to detail * Willingness to attend court and support high-level legal proceedings * Excellent written and verbal communication skills This is a hybrid role 1 to 2 Days per week in the office If interested in this role please send your CV to Lee-Juan at Coyle Personnel
