Behaviour Support Assistant - SEN Primary School, Eastbourne
£90 - £100 per day | Full-time, Long-term | Start ASAP

GSL Education is looking for an enthusiastic Behaviour Support Assistant to join a welcoming SEN primary school in Eastbourne, starting as soon as possible.
The Role
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with behavioural and emotional needs
* Implement positive behaviour management strategies
* Help children develop self-regulation and social skills
* Support students to engage with learning in a safe, structured environment
* Work closely with teachers, SENCo, and families
* Monitor and record behaviour patterns and progress
You Have
* Experience supporting children with behavioural or emotional needs
* Understanding of SEN and trauma-informed approaches
* Calm, patient, and consistent approach to challenging behaviour
* Strong communication and de-escalation skills
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
* Desirable: Primary school experience, Team Teach training, knowledge of autism/ADHD
