NPD Technologist - 12-Month Maternity Cover
Location: Park Royal
Salary: £43000
Hours: Monday-Friday
An exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and fast-growing food manufacturer on a 12-month maternity cover contract. Supplying major UK retailers with both branded and own-label products, the business is known for innovation and high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage or support NPD projects from concept through to launch, ensuring all samples, trials, and product specs meet customer and company standards.
* Lead factory trials with cross-functional support to ensure feasibility, quality, and technical compliance.
* Understand manufacturing and packaging capabilities to assess and manage potential risks in product development.
* Coordinate with stakeholders across technical, production, and commercial teams.
What We're Looking For
* Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent organisational skills.
* Confident communicator with strong IT skills (particularly Excel).
* Prior experience in a Technical or NPD role within food manufacturing preferred.
* Able to learn quickly, work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Strong attention to detail and a "right first time" mindset.
